East Sussex MG Owners Club 45th Anniversary. Over 60 current and former members of the East Sussex MG Owners Club gathered at Wellshurst Golf and Country Club to celebrate the Club's 45th Anniversary.   On a fine summer's evening everyone enjoyed the barbeque that had been arranged followed by a celebration birthday cake made in the shape of the club's badge. Some of the attendees had been members in the very early days in the 1980s; so there was a lot of interest in the selection of old club photographs on show.  Afterwards there was time to look around the display of members' MGs and choose the winners of the Shiny Car Cup awards, a tradition going back to the earliest days of the club. Regular meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month from 7.00pm at Wellshurst just south of Horam on the A267 and all MG enthusiasts are very welcome.  Members are drawn from as far afield as East Grinstead, Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Brighton and all points between.
